More and more people are deciding to come back to the city.

People are giving up having large homes with big backyards and two car garages for a smaller place in the city, with tiny backyards and street parking.

Why, you may wonder? The Answer is simple!

Giving up a one hour commute each way in rush hour is reason enough! Now lets look at it further.

If you live downtown and you can commute to work rather then drive, you now save money on gas and parking.

Some people give up their cars altogether which equates to thousands of dollars a year in savings. No gas, Insurance, Parking, Maintenance, Parking tickets, Traffic tickets, Plate renewals, Emissions testing. the list goes on.

Hundreds of hours a year will be gained by moving to the city or at least closer to it.

We are also Greener then ever. Not driving is better for the environment. 

Sure you will spend more to have a smaller place but its also a safer investment. Property prices downtown remain far more stable then property outside the city.

Toronto has been going through an Urban Un-sprawl for the past few years. This trend will continue helping drive prices up. There is talk of housing prices hitting levels seen in New York.

Its only a matter of time and we are well on our way!
